Mid Missouri Malamute Rescue Dba Decators Place
About us
At Decator’s Place/Mid Missouri Malamute Rescue, we open our hearts and our home to Huskies, Malamutes, and northern breed mixes who have been forgotten, misunderstood, or written off due to behavioral or medical challenges. Many of the dogs who come to us have bite histories, trauma, or serious health conditions that make them “unadoptable” in the eyes of others—but not to us. We believe every dog deserves a second chance, no matter their past or their pain.
Our rescue doesn’t just provide shelter—we give these dogs safety, healing, and a sense of belonging. We work tirelessly to evaluate, rehabilitate, and rehome when possible, and offer sanctuary when it’s not. We also go beyond rescue with projects like Malamutes and Military, a program dedicated to pairing veterans in need with dogs who need them just as much.

Supporting Decator’s Place means helping dogs who would otherwise have no one. It means giving hope to the hopeless and showing that compassion should never come with conditions. We can’t do it without you. Donate, sponsor, or share our mission today—and help us continue saving lives, one paw at a time.
