Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary cares for a average of 200 unadoptable small and unusual pets of 20 different types. We only take elderly, chronically ill and/or aggressive animals that truly have nowhere else to go. Many were slated for euthanasia at other shelters. We specifically only take small and unusual animals not cats, dogs, wildlife or farm animals. Critter Camp is the only such sanctuary in the US that is all volunteer operated USDA licensed. We’ve been in operation over 17 years successfully meeting strict licensing criteria. Unfortunately with our specific focus we do not qualify for the vast majority of animal welfare grants so we rely on every other donation opportunity that we can find.
