Bluegrass Burro Rescue is an equine rescue in Georgetown, KY. We take in abused, neglected, traumatized donkeys, mules and horses, as well as owner surrenders. We rehabilitate, get them vetted, farrier care, and trained to help them find their forever home. We also provide education and support to anyone asking for help. Our goal is to find forever homes, and thoroughly screen potential adopters. We always put the animals’ needs first. As a 501c3, all donations are tax deductible, and much appreciated as we have been supporting these equines on our own. Every dollar helps us in our efforts, and we welcome scheduled visits to meet our amazing animals! Transparency is our goal. Thank you for considering us!
