The Menominee Animal Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless, lost, missing and abused animals for Marinette, MI County and Menominee, MI County. We are able to provide services to the community with charitable donations from our community members. Menominee Animal Shelter was established in 1998 when a small group of community members recognized the need for animal sheltering. We also provide food bank services to the Hannahville Native American Community. Our staff is comprised of one fulltime Operations Manager, two fulltime Animal Care Technicians, and three parttime Animal Care Technicians.

Menominee Animal Shelter is run by a volunteer board, and because we are a non-profit, we operate on charitable donations. We are currently in the midst of expanding our shelter to provide further resources to our community and increasing our capacity. We need your help to achieve this and to assist in eliminating homelessness in animals.
