The Irish Red Cross (IRC) founded in 1939, is a longstanding voluntary, Humanitarian organisation in Ireland that provides a wide range of services domestically including:

  • Emergency First Aid
  • Youth Programmes/services
  • Community supports
  • Emergency relief
  • Migration services
  • Community Health & First Aid programmes within Irish Prison settings. 
The IRC services are provide through a network of 78 branches nationwide with programmes & services operating at branch level as well as from the national head office in Dublin. The IRC collaborates with overseas Red Cross national societies, assisting them in the provision of humanitarian relief through international delegates, resources and financial aid. 

The vision of the IRC is to be a leading humanitarian organisation, providing impartial services and support to vulnerable people and communities both at home and abroad.
