The mission of Hope For The Warriors is to restore self, family and hope to the warrior communities we serve. It's more than a mission, however; it's who we are. Hope For The Warriors was founded by military families aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC in 2006, as we felt the effects of war on our friends, colleagues, families and ourselves. What began as post-combat bedside care and support has evolved to a national organization that has adapted to ongoing changes within the military. Yet our work today is still just as individualized and community-based as it was in HOPE’s earliest years. HOPE’s programming is dynamic and responsive to the increased need for community reintegration and well-being services. Since its inception, Hope For The Warriors has assisted over 35,000 people in their personal journeys during and after service, with a holistic outlook on transition, health and wellness. Together, our board of directors, staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to serve those who have sacrificed so much. The integrity of our organization is paramount and therefore our representatives are as honorable and noble as our mission and the people we serve.
