Harvest Against Hunger ensures that food banks have what they need to serve their clients: healthy produce, produce recovery/gleaning/growing programs and staffing, refrigerators, computers, face masks, and more. We rescue surplus produce and move it to our food bank partners for hunger relief and food waste reduction throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We teach hunger relief agencies how to glean produce and capture produce surplus and provide them with staffing to do so as they learn and set up the program. HAH also provides food banks with support in purchasing refrigeration to store more products, refurbished lap tops for staff to better do their work, face masks to serve during covid-19, and more.
