Not for-profit Community Interest Group offering expert Welfare Benefits Advice & help with Advocacy & Disability Benefit Forms UC50/PIP/ESA/ child DLA Industrial Injuries Free adviceline 0161 672 7444 90.9% success 2020 from 680 Appeals overall, 89.9% 2019 We aim to make Welfare Benefit Advice and Advocacy available to everyone and to help people help themselves with template letters, notes and face to face help through our Buddy System and Advocacy Service. We are registered with the ICO, and comply with Data Protection policies and all our Advocates have completed Safeguarding, Data Protection and Legal courses which are kept up to date. 3 Advocates are currently completing further courses and 2 have Universal Credit training ongoing. 

We have helped train Local housing staff, MP staff and assist them with their inquiries, providing local assistance in the form of a Free monthly 'Drop In' open to anyone who wants to attend from any district the first wednesday of the month. We offer Free Advice/Form Filling and Advocacy during these sessions, on our phone lines and also via facebook messages. We are a Community Interest Registered non profit Company and you can find us on Companies House registered under Advocacy For Disabled People Registration number 09486035 incorporated in March 2015. As a CIC anything that is left over at the end of each month after the running costs for the 3 offices are taken out, this is then ploughed back into Fightback to help clients nationwide.  We currently have a Free, Phone and Email Adviceline and Drop In service that is available to everyone completely FREE of charge at present from "profit" raised this last year, we are booking drop in days around the UK at the moment in order to help many others. W e won The People's Champion Award by Left Foot Forward recently, and were shortlisted for the finals of the National Diversity Awards September 2014 and 2018, 21k were nominated, we got through to the final 5 and attended a prestigious award ceremonies in London/Liverpool, hosted and replayed on Sky TV.  We also work closely with the some MS societies under a service contract.

We have been selected by Nationwide Bank, NW as the Charity/Community Group of the year, and have received a £100 cheque, if we get top votes in store we win another £500. As a non funded group that's quite some achievement. We also have been nominated twice for the Nationwide and Santander Charity of the month.

Many of these gained the highest rates possible we do not pick and choose cases, we will help everyone! We offer probono places (funds permitting) and advice is always free, in person, over the phone or email/facebook message.
