Greece has an untold number of stray dogs, there is no hope for these dogs! Never to experience a loving owner, a cosy bed or a good meal. There are countless dogs chained up with no food, water or shelter and with little human contact, as well as those in shelters with no hope of ever leaving. Our aim is to help some dogs have a family life in the UK, raise funds for spaying/neutering for some of the local strays. and to sterilise all new animals arriving at the shelter; make things more bearable for the dogs/cats at the very basic shelter and try to raise funds to allow us to continue feeding the 160 plus dogs daily. In order to achieve this we need more like-minded people to join our team, we need help with fundraising, spreading the word here in the UK and we need volunteers to visit & help at the shelter we try to help in Greece. You don’t have to have a particular skill. Anything anybody can do, even just giving the dogs/cats some company would be fantastic.
