As a mothership for Edlington based in Yorkshire Main Community Centre, our charity makes people feel less alienated by making space in household budgets which enables our community to eat up, meet up and heat up!

Supported by our army of volunteers our community projects include:

Feeding bellies not bins with a range of food provisions to suit all budgets and preventing rumbling tummies which distract children from learning. (food bank, community cupboard & community market)

Meeting up and eating up with a range of free or low-cost social activities provided all year round for the whole community to get involved with, all with complimentary food (playgroup, afterschool & youth club, choir, bingo, exercise, jumble sales, bus trips, seasonal dinners, crafting, term time and school holiday provisions)

Increasing wellbeing and safety with access to energy saving, household and personal safety items, slip resident slippers and hearing aid batteries for those who are elderly and vulnerable.

Free sanitary and personal hygiene products to tackle period poverty.

Volunteer opportunities, information, advice and signposting into local services and connecting people to other groups.
