Since starting The Paw Project UK in August 2021, where we started with just 3 members of the team, we have saved over 1800 dogs from Romania, Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and have brought over many fosters to rehabilitate prior to their forever homes. In this time, we have also been able to grow a wonderful team built up of 15 dedicated volunteers. At The Paw Project UK, we believe that all dogs, regardless of age, needs, or disabilities deserve to have a loving and structured home environment to make sure that they thrive. In this time, our Facebook page has also reached a following of 26k, which continues to grow rapidly. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our dogs. Our aim isn’t with numbers, but it is with making sure that each dog's individual needs are met. We believe that all of our dogs are deserving of every effort that we can provide. Whether this be funding x-rays and MRI’s if our rescuers have concerns with a dogs health or placing our dogs into rehabilitative care to overcome behavioural issues. No effort is too big. These dogs may of had a terrible start to life on the streets fighting for food, being abused and going through so much suffering, or they may have been rescued from a kill shelter. Our aim is to make sure every dog has the chance of a safe and happy life where they will experience the love and care that they deserve.
