Yorkshire Rabbit Retreat
About us
We are a small home run rescue based in West Yorkshire. Established in 2013 and we were awarded charity status in our 10th anniversary year.
Our aim is to find loving homes for all the bunnies in our care.
After owning rabbits for over 14 years, I the founder, wanted to use my knowledge and experience to help rabbits in need. We aim to find the best possible homes for bunnies who desperately deserve a second chance. In the UK rabbits are facing a crisis, there is just not enough help being offered to keep up with the number of unwanted rabbits. This is due to misinformation, allergies, landlords not allowing pets, parents believing they are a good pet for their children and the list goes on. Rabbits are the most neglected and misunderstood pets and therefore need as much help as possible from us to ensure they are being properly cared for. Please do plenty of research if you are thinking about owning bunnies; many people think they are easy to care for........nothing could be further from the truth! We are particularly passionate about educating people on the correct care and spreading awareness that rabbits need to have company of their own kind. We have lots of information on this website and we are always more than happy to provide advice and help where we can. We add Votes for every £ you Donate
