About us
Whaikaha (meaning "to be differently abled") Basketball Trust provides opportunities for basketball players with intellectual impairments to take part in high performance sporting competitions.
We have long known that our special needs athletes have been capable of achieving so much more than people think they can, so we are working towards assisting these talented kiwi basketballers to compete at national and international competitions.
To do this we need help to cover costs for travel and competition fees which can be a lot when travelling from NZ.
This level of participation is very new in NZ but we hope to be able to grow our programme so that we can ultimately compete in regular competition against our peers from around the world.
We add Feature Views for every $ you pay.
