Kodi's Paw-A-Thon Inc.

Kodi's Paw-A-Thon Inc. is a Not-For-Profit and Registered Charity that aims to raise money for cancer research in both people and pets. It achieves this aim through running fun, engaging and creative events that are pet-friendly. The organisation believes in grass-roots initiatives that promote awareness, inclusion, collaborative relationships and fun.

The charity works in partnership with important research organisations like:

• The Royal Children’s Hospital

• Cancer Council

• Australian Animal Cancer Foundation.

Supporting Kodi’s Paw-a-thon means supporting a charity that actively participates in local communities in Victoria, Australia. In the first fun-run event held earlier in 2021, Kodi’s Paw-A-Thon Inc was able to raise over 6,000 dollars through a pet-friendly event. On October 31, the charity is holding another fun-run and farmers' market to advocate for cancer research in animals and people, while also supporting local businesses and farms in a way that is Covid-safe and socially responsible.

In humans, cancer kills 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men. The incidence is almost equal in dogs, killing 50% of dogs over the age of 10 and 33% of those under. It is the mission of Kodi’s Paw-A-Thon Inc. to actively contribute to the reduction in these statistics and we welcome your support in achieving this mission.
