Liberty Foundation has the sole aim of rehoming animals from research establishments in Australia that can go on to lead healthy, happy and fulfilling lives in the community as cherished pets and companions. Since 2017 Liberty Foundation has rehomed more than 250 animals from research in Australia including a dog, rats, mice guinea pigs, rabbits and fish. It relies solely on donations and support from the community to continue its work, without which these animals would be humanely killed at the end of research.
