TGDBB began in 2020 with the purpose of social connection for transgender people and has quickly grown to become a peer led, volunteer, incorporated association, delivering events and activities including monthly peer support meetings, free clothing swap events throughout Victoria, trans awareness projects, education and training, inclusion in panel discussions, hosting LGBTIQ celebration days, providing travel options for community members to access LGBTIQ events across Victoria, crisis support, referral and resources for local trans people, families and broader community and organisations.
