Our aim is to bring joy and laughter to children in hospital and support healthy ageing. We use humour for health and try to contribute to a more heart felt and humourous society. Clown doctors use the ethos of clowning – vulnerability, a desire to be loved, forgetfulness, clumsiness and playfulness – to shortcut ‘normal’ human interactions, break down barriers and offer immediate and unconditional friendship, love and support in a safe environment. Behind the red nose is a heart full of kindness.
