LASI Australia is a 96 acre sanctuary on the foreshores of Lake Monduran in the Bundaberg region. We are a registered charity set up to care for a variety of predominantly ex racehorses in all stages of their life. We take on the starved, abandoned, neglected, abused, unhandled, pregnant, injured and most importantly, the aged and broken down horses and provide them with a forever life and a permanent home. Our main areas of focus include animal rescue and care, retraining, re-educating and re-homing if appropriate and we have recently begun the process of establishing an Equine Assisted Therapy program. To give these abandoned ex race horses a better after life, we need your help.
