We are a not for profit volunteer based wildlife group which includes;  A licensed shelter, Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter  A 24 hour Emergency Wildlife Rescue Service 0417-560-910  A national 24 hour Wildlife Emergency Referral Service  Dutch Thunder Wildlife Education Program  Are the lead organisation in the ‘Save Our Koalas’ project We are a vital emergency service in our community, we respond to thousands of calls per year regarding sick, injured and orphaned wildlife throughout the Moira Shire and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to the Rescue, Rehabilitation and Release of our Australian Native Wildlife. Our licensed Wildlife Shelter is situated in Koonoomoo on the banks of the Murray River. In an effort to educate people and help our amazing native animals, we offer a Dutch Thunder Wildlife Education Program to local schools, community groups and businesses. These presentations introduce people to:  ‘Australian Native Animals’ and what’s in their local area  The challenges they face  How they can help in an engaging way  An introduction to the ‘Save Our Koalas’ project Our presentations can be catered to all ages and abilities and are given by qualified volunteers.
