Saving Shasta Cats spays and neuters community cats and supports underserved residents of Shasta and Siskiyou counties with emergency and routine veterinary care for companion animals. We rescue abused, abandoned and injured cats, rehabilitate and foster with love and expert care, and ultimately place them in loving forever homes. We celebrate the beauty of the human animal bond and recognize its importance in the mental health and well being of all sentient beings. To this end, July 2025, we are embarking on a journey to integrate humane education and reverence for all life in a play based program for children in Siskiyou County and the filming of a documentary highlighting remarkable stories of the healing power of companion animals in the lives of their people.
