Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to providing a loving, cage-free home environment to senior cats, ages 9 years or older. In addition to accepting cats from owners who can no longer care for them, Laps and Naps pulls senior cats from local animal shelters to provide them with a home environment and care specific to their age and medical conditions.

Laps and Naps not only benefits senior cats, but also the caretakers who are forced by circumstances beyond their control to surrender their beloved companions, and also the new caretakers who are now sharing their lives with a grateful feline companion. The rescue has provided peace of mind to people in Hospice care, allowing them to make their transition knowing their beloved feline family members are in loving homes.
