At The Matthew 25 Mission, we believe that nobody should be written off.

Every day, we support people facing homelessness, poverty, poor mental health, addiction, domestic abuse, social isolation and other complex challenges across Eastbourne. Many of those who walk through our doors have nowhere else to turn.

Our community hub provides far more than a hot meal. We offer a safe, welcoming place where people can access practical support, compassionate keyworkers, healthcare, advice, clothing, food, laundry facilities and opportunities to rebuild their lives. Through our Moving On Programme, we help people develop confidence, learn new skills, volunteer, access training and employment, and take positive steps towards independent living.

We believe lasting change happens when immediate needs are met alongside long-term support. By walking alongside people rather than simply providing crisis intervention, we help individuals regain hope, rebuild self-worth and create brighter futures.

Last year alone, we served over 33,000 nutritious meals while supporting thousands of vulnerable people in our community. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters, volunteers and donors.

Together, we are proving that with kindness, dignity and the right support, lives really can be transformed.
