The Bennachie Centre Trust
About us
Located at the foot of North-East Scotland's most prominent landmark the Bennachie Visitor Centre is managed by The Bennachie Centre Trust; a voluntary organisation and registered charity (SCO 25431) responsible for the internal maintenance and development of the public spaces within the Bennachie Visitor Centre.
Here you'll discover that Bennachie is much more than just a hill. It's a beautiful, tranquil, exciting, magical place that promises a great day out.
Through art, exhibitions and displays, tactile discovery, and more, we aim to raise awareness and appreciation of Bennachie and the surrounding area; its natural and social history, and conservation whilst promoting responsible recreational use and sustainability.
Activities and interpretive materials through the changing seasons provide environmental education for all ages.
Facilities for visitors include all year round toilets, our Gift and Coffee shop and indoor seating; while the Community Room is used for workshops, meetings or public hire.
We’re proud to support both local and wider community initiatives, Bennachie inspired artists along with organisations such as Aberdeen Rescue and the annual Ultra Marathon.
Admission is free so we rely on your generous support and donations to keep the centre open, relevant and to provide the best visitor experience possible.
