Greyhound Welfare and Rescue Cover Photo
Greyhound Welfare was founded by the late Dawn Abraham in September 1999. The charity (reg 1077343) exists to take in, rehabilitate and re home ex racing greyhounds and the occasional lurcher. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated and medically sound before re homing. All homes offered are visited, personally, by experienced volunteers. This is to verify details given, advise on security in the garden, find out where in the house the dog will be allowed to go / sleep and identify a "safe" area for the greyhound to escape family life for rest and relaxation. We haven't been able to go out fundraising since march and need funds to continue our work
