The Ark Animal Rescue & Retirement Home, Lincolnshire Cover Photo
The Ark began in 1986. During this time a multitude of animals have been given loving homes, and other animals, which are not really suitable for re-homing, have made their home at the Ark. Many of the animals who come to live in the Ark are old, ill or have been cruelly treated. They come to an environment where they are protected and loved. We will do anything we can to make them happy for the rest of their natural lives. We depend on our own efforts and those of our supporters for funds by various fund-raising events and donations. Without this we'd be unable to continue. During the pandemic most of these events have been unable to take place so our income has been badly depleted. Our vet bill alone averages at about £3,000 a month, not to mention food, heating in winter, staff wages, insurance, removal of waste and endless more expenses. We need and are very grateful for every penny we receive.
