For 20 years Wetnose Animal Aid has raised funds for the smaller Rescue Centres who need desperate help and support. We help by giving supplies, equipment, paying off vet or feed bills. We also visit many centres to see how we can help and give out Application forms for small grants from £500 to £3,000. Many centres do not get Government grants or help from the Lottery so organisations like Wetnose are vital in supporting these smaller centres going and more importantly helping them to grow and expand. Having run a Rescue Centre we know the financial and emotional stress these people are often under and face every week. This year of course we have seen a disastrous lack of support from Government or local authorities which has seen a rise in animal cruelty and more animals being rescued and taken in for safety and care. Unfortunately animals are always last on the list when it comes to united help.
