Texas Humane Heroes (EIN 74-2069592) is a no kill, private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1979, we support communities throughout the entire state of Texas. We pull dogs and cats into our program from overcrowded shelters that are often forced to euthanize. In 2020, Texas Humane Heroes rescued 4,378 dogs and cats from 89 shelters across the state of Texas. We have Adoption Centers in Leander and Killeen, Texas.
