Since 2018, Valley Cats – Alberni Cat Rescue has been a lifeline for feral, abandoned, and unwanted cats and kittens in Port Alberni and surrounding areas. Every day, we work to reduce the suffering of these vulnerable animals through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption efforts. Without intervention, wild-born kittens quickly become un-socialized, making them nearly impossible to adopt and often viewed as nuisances. Our team traps, neuters, fosters, and finds loving homes for countless cats who would otherwise face a harsh life—or death—on the streets.
