About us
Set up over six years ago, and with the sole purpose of rescuing the stray, abandoned animals of Crete, Takis Shelter currently cares for over 400 dogs and cats. Takis Shelter is a nonprofit organization and relies solely on your donations. We receive no help from the authorities.
Monthly food and veterinary bills come to over €11,000, so donations are vital.
