RESCUE NL was founded to address the problem of animal abuse and neglect in Newfoundland and Labrador. We strive to help any animal that is being mistreated and/or requires assistance to live a happy, healthy life.
Rescue NL began operation in May 2015. We are an incorporated non-profit organization that operates under a no-kill policy lead by a board of directors with a combined 42 of animal rescue experience. We take in animals that have been seized by the authorities (RCMP or RNC), surrendered by their owners, or transferred from another shelter where the animal has reached their holding limit and they are scheduled to be euthanized. Our animals are currently held in a network of foster homes.
