We are a Foster Based 501c3 non-profit dog rescue dedicated to saving the lives of Newfoundland dogs across America.

We give exceptional vet care for all of our intake dogs starting with an exam, identifying their needs, we microchip, test for intestinal parasites, heartworm, lyme disease, ehrlichia, & anaplasma amd if needed Rabies and DHPP (vaccines for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza, and parvovirus) vaccines. If the dog is of age, we will Spay or Neuter. We treat medical conditions to bring the dogs up to their best possible health prior to their adoption. All health issues that cannot be cured by a vet are fully disclosed to potential adopters. We provide and disclosse all veterinary records at the time of the adoption as well. Where possible, we will also include records from the surrendering family (these are not always made available to us).

National Newfoundland Rescue Inc. was founded by a group of dedicated Newfoundland Rescue volunteers with a combined total of over 60 years of rescue experience.
