Stover Animal Rescue temporarily provides quality medical treatment, daily care, and rehabilitation to needy cats and dogs until suitable permanent homes can be found; and promotes and supports efforts to improve quality of life for animals in our local community, those served by regional advocacy groups, and those animals needing aid through worldwide rescue operations.  In addition to rehoming of neglected and abandoned dogs and cats, in order to help keep beloved pets in their homes and reduce the strain on rescues, we also provide local outreach services such as pet food, shelters, supplies, and essential medical care like spay/neuter, vaccines, and emergency treatment as we are able.

We are a public charity 501(c)3 tax exempt No-Kill non-profit dog and cat rescue staffed and managed totally by volunteers; and funded totally by voluntary donations and grants - no government funding.  Animals are ONLY euthanized if their condition is incompatible with a reasonable quality of life - as determined by one or more qualified veterinarians.
