Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society is a national charity dedicated to increasing survival and improving the quality of life for every Canadian diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our mission is a world where surviving pancreatic cancer is expected.

Your support will help us raise awareness of pancreatic cancer as well as provide direct support to patients and their families through our programs that include, Ask-A-Doctor, Support4Caregivers and financial and practical support. Your support will also go a long way to helping us fund researcher and provide educational support for healthcare professionals who share our commitment to changing outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.

Each year about 6,000 Canadians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - and approximately 5,300 people will die from the disease.  It is the 12th most commonly diagnosed cancer in the country but is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths, overtaking breast cancer in early 2020.2 Pancreatic cancer is a lethal disease with the lowest of all survival rates: in Canada only 8% of those who are diagnosed are expected to live for 5-years. Less than 30% survive for one year.   While progress has been made in reducing deaths for most major cancers (including breast, prostate, and lung), the same cannot be said for pancreatic cancer. The fatality rate has remained largely unchanged for over twenty years.

Every bit of support will help us make a difference!
