Rescue Foundation is an internationally recognized anti-human trafficking organization based in India, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, restoration, and reintegration of women and children who have been victims of trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Founded by Triveni Acharya, the organization has been working for over 25 years at the grassroots level, addressing one of the most complex and urgent social issues.

The foundation conducts high-risk rescue operations in close collaboration with law enforcement agencies across multiple states, identifying and liberating victims from trafficking networks. However, Rescue Foundation’s work goes far beyond rescue. It operates multiple shelter homes that provide survivors with a safe and structured environment where they receive comprehensive, trauma-informed care. This includes medical treatment, psychological counseling, legal support, education, and vocational training.

A key strength of Rescue Foundation lies in its survivor-centric approach. Each individual is supported through a personalized rehabilitation plan that focuses on healing, rebuilding confidence, and preparing for independent living. The organization also works towards reintegration, helping survivors reconnect with their families where safe and appropriate, or supporting them in building independent futures.

In addition to direct intervention, Rescue Foundation actively engages in prevention and awareness initiatives, working with communities, institutions, and stakeholders to address the root causes of trafficking, including vulnerability and demand.
