Our organization is committed to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home. Pope County Humane Society was established in 1985 and incorporated in 1987. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to caring for lost, abandoned, and stray animals. Seeing a need for an energetic nonprofit to support our community's animals, we formed our organization to provide solutions for animals in need.
