East Point Horspice
About us
Established in 2006 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, East Point Horspice (EPH) uses rescued horses to provide a 10-week therapeutic riding program as well as equine healing and trauma recovery sessions.
By connecting horses and people, both of which could be defined as having special needs, EPH creates an atmosphere where any horse or person with which they come in contact will improve physically and emotionally with a goal to develop a rewarding and beneficial relationship for all concerned.
Community education is provided in the form of advocacy for horses in line with social awareness of abused animals. This program expands the availability and use of alternative care to prevent needless euthanasia.
EPH will take injured, owner-surrendered, confiscated, unwanted and/or abused horses to rehabilitate, cure, mentally heal and retrain.
