Prickles in a Pickle is a hedgehog rescue charity that takes in sick or injured hedgehogs. We assess , nurse and release back to the wild. We are run entirely by volunteers and take over 1300 hedgehogs a year . We have over 65 volunteers that give their time to helping save these beautiful creatures, our volunteers are from all walks of life and all share a passion for wildlife and environmental protection.

We also offer work placements to adults with additional needs , Duke of Edinburgh awards placements and have volunteers from all walks of life and all ages.

We also deliver educational talks to community groups and schools to help everyone understand how they can help wildlife in their own gardens and public green spaces.
