Perth Rescue Angels Inc is a Western Australian based not-for-profit animal rescue charity that strives to change the lives of homeless, neglected, surrendered and abused animals through foster care and adoption. We rescue both cats and dogs, however have previously rescued rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, chickens and even a couple of horses! We mainly specialise in cats, and in particular trapping and rehabilitating undomesticated cats and kittens. Not only does this give the cats a chance to live in a home environment, it also helps reduce the number of unwanted cats and kittens on the streets and helps protect our native wildlife. Being a foster based rescue means that our cats and dogs live in homes with families while they are waiting for their forever homes. We have a strong Facebook following of over 19,000 people, over 130 dedicated foster carers, and have successfully rehomed over 3000 animals since 2012. Perth Rescue Angels Inc is an Incorporated Entity, a registered Charity with the ACNC, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient, and has a Charity Collections License. We are completely self-funded and do not receive any government grants. Perth Rescue Angels is a fully volunteer based organization so none of the money raised goes on staff wages and we only fundraise using cruelty-free strategies.
