The Compassionate Friends Qld is part of a world wide organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of families following the death of a child at any age and from any cause.

We offer a 24 hour telephone help line as well as online and in person support meetings that provide the opportunity to talk to another parent who has experienced the loss of a child. We have a regular magazine and hold events to support families and commemorate the children they have lost.

All of our support services are provided by volunteers who themselves have lost a child. 

We also provide information and education about bereaved parents and siblings to help those in the community, including family, friends, employers, co-workers and professionals, to be supportive of the bereaved.
