PLFGCS is a volunteer-led nonprofit offering gender-specific transitional homes for justice-involved and vulnerable individuals in Sacramento and surrounding areas. Since 2013, we’ve provided a sanctuary for transformation—where residents receive holistic support through trauma-informed workshops, peer mentorship, and spiritual grounding rooted in The Four Agreements.

Our homes are more than shelter—they’re spaces of healing, accountability, and community. Led entirely by unpaid volunteers and credentialed facilitators, PLFGCS empowers residents to rebuild their lives, reconnect with family, and reenter society with dignity.

We welcome partnerships with local businesses, donors, and volunteers who believe in second chances and the power of communal healing.
