SHAID has been sheltering helpless animals in distress until they find their new beginnings since 1986. We adopt and help approximately 400 cats and dogs per year. In addition to adoptions we have a trap neuter and release program, along with a spat and neuter subsidy fund for low income families. We are a small shelter that helps Lunenburg county and beyond.
