Deep Heart’s mission is to bring catharsis and healing to system impacted individuals using therapeutic entertainment. We are a family-founded and run, all-volunteer, performing arts and outreach 501c3 public charity. We use performance art and personal interaction to bring hope, healing, and transformation to the incarcerated, homeless, disadvantaged youth, and families in situations of crisis around the world. Although we just applied for and received non-profit status in 2019, we've been in operation for over 30 years in more than 50 countries, reaching hundreds of thousands of individuals dealing with tragic circumstances. Our crew is educated and experienced in many fields including sociology, psychology, group dynamics, counseling, and public speaking. We put on live educational, therapeutic, and inspirational theatrical events inside prisons, detention centers, hospitals, and shelters. We also produce high-quality, content in the form of films and magazines designed to impact those incarcerated, their families, and anyone suffering in difficult circumstances. Some of our outreach services include care packages for the homeless and incarcerated, events that combine a meal and show, correspondence and counseling, and material aid to the homeless, veterans, and incarcerated. We have the highest rating possible for a non-profit on Candid and personally reach over 30k men and women incarcerated annually, with over 1 million impacted by our content digitally. Even though we're small, we have a massive reach, touring year round and putting on approx. 4 events a week. We have learned to stretch every dollar to have the highest possible impact and are grateful beyond words for any support we receive that helps us do more. Thank you so very much! 

While our personal motivation comes from the love of the Father as shown in Jesus, we are not a religious organization. We do not promote any religion, denomination, church, or doctrine, nor do we discriminate against anyone for any reason. Every one of our programs is specifically designed to welcome each individual, no matter their background, lifestyle, or beliefs, into a transformative moment of hope, love, and personal interaction.
