MS Research Treatment & Education is a charity dedicated to furthering our understanding of MS. At MSRTE we have three main aims: To listen to people with MS and those who share their lives and help care for them. To learn more about the problems they face every day. To act to address and alleviate those problems. MS Research raise funds to invest in research projects that improve the quality of life for people living with MS in the hope of slowing down MS progression or stopping it all together and eventually finding a cure. The coronavirus pandemic has severely affected funding in the charity sector but the need to further understanding of MS has never been greater. The coronavirus pandemic has affected our world in immeasurable ways. The charity sector is no exception, as funding has been severely affected. Throughout this period research projects have had to be put on hold as the world deals with the pandemic. But people living with MS are still desperate for improved treatments and research projects are the only way to enable this. We need to get back to research to stop MS progression in its tracks and improve the lives of those living with MS.
