Our Mission is to improve the lives of pets in need by providing rescue, foster care, veterinary care, education, training support, and adoption into safe, loving homes.

We collaborate with other animal welfare organizations to help find good homes for pets in need. We support spay/neuter clinics. We help people who love their dogs, but are struggling financially, to be able to keep their dogs. We invest a lot of time and effort into the evaluation of each dog so we can share the dog's training, exercise and other needs in an effort to ensure a successful adoption.

We support our generous volunteers by showing them the respect, professionalism and responsiveness that they deserve, so that they find volunteering with Mountain Pet Rescue to be a valuable, rewarding, and enjoyable experience.
