The Lucky Ones Ranch is a nonprofit animal sanctuary located in Vacaville, California.  We are a forever home to over 130 animals, which includes 18 different species of animals.  We specialize in rescuing special-needs Australian Cattle Dogs (deaf, blind, neurological), as well as dogs with difficult medical cases.  We rescue and rehab the animals and give back to the community by using the animals for weekly pet therapy interactions to mentally and physically disabled adults and to memory care residents at a senior home.  

The Lucky Ones Ranch also provides a unique venue where kids of all ages, adults, families of military veterans and law enforcement, can come together and have a therapeutic experience with our rescued animals.  Additionally, the Ranch founders, Thao and Vince work in law enforcement, as a police dispatcher and deputy, respectively.  They support the community in so many ways and they would be grateful for the community's support in helping them with their rescue work.
