Akayas Adopted Crew takes in the dogs typically nobody wants, with those being special needs dogs especially the ones who are blind,  vision impaired or deaf and the elderly dogs that get dropped off at the shelters because they “aren’t puppies anymore”. I want to give the dogs who get overlooked because of age or disability a chance to have a a furever home with someone or at least a furever home with me!

I packed up my whole life and moved from Ohio to Texas to start rescuing dogs the amount of stray dogs is unbelievable and so so sad

I think people should support my sanctuary because i care and i want the dogs who most people would overlook in a heartbeat because they have that grey face and are older or they may not be able to hear their name or see you throw a ball for fetch!
