True Light is a ministry that is dedicated to providing safe havens for women to heal and recover from addiction, abuse, and sexual exploitation. We utilize a Christian format based on principles of love, forgiveness, and empowerment with access to wide-ranging tools and resources to truly break the cycle of addiction, abuse, sexual violence, homelessness, and imprisonment. We mentor and educate these survivors so they can reach their full potential. All residents are expected to live and work together as a family in a manner that brings honor and dignity and helps provide an atmosphere of love and compassion. We offer a loving, supportive, and safe place to live while they heal and recover. True Light provides food, utilities, clothing, a bed and bedding, toiletries, and more. We teach them life skills, and they can volunteer at our Thrift store to learn job and social skills. We are now in the planning phase to raise funds so we can open a home for pregnant women.
