Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is saving little dogs with loving hearts and BIG attitudes! We operate all over the state of Florida and use foster homes to house the dogs. As an all volunteer organization, we have minimal overhead expenses. This means that every dollar donated to the rescue is put to it's best possible use. Although, we specialize as a dachshund rescue, we also take in mixes and other small dogs who need us. 

Low Rider is committed to helping to improve the lives of dogs by providing necessary medical treatment. We do not receive any government funding at this time. Donations come from individuals and companies and are used for important vaccines, complete vetting, spay and neuter, and even life-saving and life-changing surgeries! 

Our board members and volunteers work hard every single day to save the dogs. The past few years have brought about many changes across the country and particular issues with growth in Florida. As a result, we are seeing the need for rescue for these precious animals grow exponencially.
