Whispering Meadows Ranch, a 100% volunteer-based, 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization provides therapeutic horseback riding and horsemanship activities to individuals with disabilities and special needs in Flagler County FL and beyond.  Whispering Meadows is the ONLY program filling the extreme need for recreational and therapeutic services for those with disabilities/special needs, children in foster care and veterans in our area.  

The Ranch is a PATH Int'l International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship )Certified Center and each program is taught by PATH Certified Instructors.   Whispering Meadows Ranch is also a nationally certified Stable Moments Center , a mentor based program developed to change and brighten the path of children in foster care or those recently adopted. The one-on-one mentorship program offers a committed, faithful, caring presence to promote healing through a structured Equine Facilitated Learning program as well as hands-on interactive activities. By bringing horses and children together, the lessons will assist children in achieving functional life skill goals such as healthy relationships, self esteem, communication and self regulation to name a few. 

Whispering Meadows Ranch has served Flagler County FL for 14 years and continues to be a volunteer based organization as well as the ONLY outdoor, recreational program for those with special needs and disabilities in Flagler County and beyond!  The extreme need for services for those with special needs in our community is astounding.  We are striving to fill this need and continue enriching the lives of children and adults with special needs through the extraordinary benefits of therapeutic riding, equine assisted activities and recreational programs.  Additional funds would help us with the following:

Expand our reach to serve more individuals in our community. (Our wait list exceeds 25 participants at any given time)

Expand our partnerships with State Universities, hospitals and service organizations to educate professional, medical, and students to broaden their resources.

Allow us to hire paid staff and therapists to assist with and address varying needs within our community.
