For over 20 years, KYDS has provided accessible, professional counselling and early intervention mental health support for young people aged 10-24 in NSW, with:

▪️No young person turned away due to cost.

We fill a vital gap in the mental health system - the 'missing middle'. These are the young people who don’t qualify for emergency mental health support but need more than a few sessions to get back on track - and they're struggling in silence every day. Without help, things can escalate quickly - that's why KYDS is committed to ensuring young people can access the right support when they need it, for as long as they need it.

Each year we deliver around 10,000 counselling sessions, helping young people with challenges like bullying, stress, anxiety, relationship breakdowns, grief, loss, depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.

KYDS does not receive routine government funding and relies on community generosity to continue delivering its services. Every dollar contributed creates more than $6 in social and economic impact in our community.
